Vapour-permeable facade coating

A facade has to do two things at once: keep rain out and let water vapour pass from inside to outside. PScoat does both and insulates at the same time.

The values come from the CE marking to EN 15824 (declaration of performance PSC250T-2026-01) and from the accredited laboratory EFEKT in Zabrze:

  • Water vapour permeability 184 g/(m²·d), which is class V1, the highest class (sd value 0.11 m).
  • Water absorption 0.07 kg/(m²·h^0.5), class W3 (low water absorption).
  • Adhesion on concrete 1.4 N/mm²; after 20 freeze-thaw cycles 0.8 N/mm².
  • TÜV NORD Verified Product, mark ID 141649.

What this means for your house: the wall can release moisture while rainwater cannot get in. This protects the render from frost damage and the rooms from damp, cold wall surfaces. Where walls are too cold on the inside, the surface temperature rises noticeably: in the 1960 block of flats from 13.0 to 19.7 °C.
